Directly from my brain and onto the internet.

I wish my mom had had more children. That way it wouldn't be a complete loss for her if she found out that one of them was defective and couldn't be fixed.

Don't think for a second that your mother dosn't love you. You are the most precious thing in her life, and would be shocked to hear that her child feels she/he feels defective.

Just go ask her...youll see

What have you done to feel that way? If you talk to her about it, she will help you work through it.

How old are you PJ? Looking at your blog I get the inpression you are an adult? I could be wrong, it may not have been your info I saw. Anyway, back to the subject.

No matter how old you are young, teen, adult, old etc, your mother never stops loving you, as a mother I know this from experience with my daughter. I also know this from my experience with my mother (god rest her soul)and all the hard times I gave her and the horror I put her through.

A mothers love never dies, it is enduring. Trust that love. Go and talk to your mother, you might be surprised.

I'm 22.

I'm sure I am the most precious thing in her life. I'm so much more important to her than anything else that I think you could say that I'm the only thing that's really important. That's a lot of her eggs in one basket. Especially when I so often feel like I might be defective as a human being.

PJ,

You are not defective. You are different. Everyone is different. You are a bright kid who sees himself as imperfect when he wants to be perfect. You are a bright kid. You have a huge world of possibilities out there. You will have your choice of Jobs.
"Mitch: Am I gonna wind up in a steam tunnel? CHRIS:Yes, you are, Metaphorically speaking. Unless you see that the same thing that has made your life miserable can make it great; your brain. When you're smart, people need you, and you can learn how to work that for fun and profit." - Real Genius.
Learn to work the system and you will be able to write you own ticket to do whatever you want. How's the Co-op search going. I recommend applying to Bloomberg Financial(free food and great benefits if you become a full employee).

Chris: Look at it this way. Considering the type of people you are and the environment you're in, you have to admit the strong possibility this may be the only chance you ever have in your entire lives... to have sex.

What is the steam tunnel in that metaphore, by the way?
